Sunnybank Association has a long history in supporting the elderly on the Riviera. It was founded in 1892 as an Anglophone hospital in Cannes. It is a non-profit and non-denominational organisation whose activities cover the Alpes Maritimes and the Var.
The original Sunny Bank Association was founded in 1892 by a group of British residents in and around Cannes and financed by personal donations. In 1897 they built a permanent cottage hospital which continued to operate for one hundred years. During the First World War it remained open and in 1918 shared its facilities with the American Red Cross.Get the full story
It happens so quickly! Sunnybank's third Saturday opening is here again at The Grange. Come along, bring your friends (and/or your dogs), all are welcome! On the menu for lunch is delicious meat or vegetarian home-made lasagne. Browse the incredible library, the amazing bric-a-brac, and the wonderful 'posh'. Find that all-important item that you never realised you couldn't live without! Open from 1000 to 1500. Please note that Sunnybank is unable to accept donations of items in large quantities.
