Sunnybank Association has its headquarters at The Grange in Mouans-Sartoux, providing support in English for residents of the Victoria Residential Care Home and the Albert Retirement Apartments, both of which are on the same site. We also work in close association with other residential care providers on the Riviera.
Sunnybank consists of a large body of volunteers involved in providing support in a wide variety of ways, such as daily visits to Victoria residential care home, weekly visits to Albert, the nearby independent living facility, fundraising activities, and we also offer a social setting for lunch and beverages.
The Grange is Sunnybank’s headquarters and is a central hub for many activities. Situated in Mouans-Sartoux with good access and parking, you can come for coffee mornings, to chat and have lunch, to browse the books, pre-loved clothes and bric-a brac. There is also a studio flat at the disposition of visitors to Victoria or Albert residents for a modest donation. Other organisations use The Grange, and everyone is welcome!
We are a group of volunteers, eager to improve the quality of life for the English-speaking elderly as they reach a time of life when residential care is needed.
We come from diverse backgrounds – from nursing and care, to business and teaching – and range from long-term residents to relative newcomers to the south of France.
If you would like to join us as a volunteer, we would certainly welcome you and are sure you will find your involvement very rewarding.
